The first pictures are the basic bike VRSCDX NIGHT ROD SPECIAL. The following pictures are the upgrades to turn the bike into a powerful highway cruiser with a conformable riding position and back rest. The handle bars were changed for a more normal riding position so that you can lean back instead of leaning far forward. This required the cable lines and hydraulic lines to be longer and were upgraded to stainless steel lines. The grips were changed for better looks and more comfort. Rider Floor boards were added and the softail floorboard fit perfectly. A Corbin fairing was added to take away the tearing wind when ridding over 60 and added to a much more conformable ride. I lowered the headlight about 2-1/2 inches for the fairing to fit correctly. The Corbin Fairing did not effect the stability of the bike at high speeds and proved to be very effective at blocking wind. Even more so when the Memphis lower shades were added. Passenger floor board were added and that required a relocation at the swing arm pivot point. This required the swing arm shaft to be replaced. While this is more comfort for a passenger it proved to be somewhat of a hindrance to the driver leaving little room for the leg when in a stopped position. It was therefor removed but can be added when ever it is needed. A cap was installed at the swing arm pivot point to cover up the unsightly open bolt when the passenger floor board is not in place. A "Friendly Bag" with back rest was added of which I very much enjoy. Being a senior citizen I can appreciate the back support. I enjoyed putting this bike together and testing the overall performance. I think it was greatly improved especially for rider comfort. If you would like to purchase this bike I would sell it for $15,900. I would then move on to another project. 
           Bike was purchased new in August 2007 and has 4000 miles on it.
All original parts removed included. Bike is located and may be seen at 1336 Clubhouse Dr., Rockledge, Florida, 32955. I will also deliver the bike up to a distance of 300 miles. Shipping cost to Washington State is about $800 and about $600 to New York.
